The RWC Foundation Makes a Difference in the Lives of Residents and the Community.

When Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury opened its doors in 1985, the RWC Foundation was already formed. Its primary goal is to help ensure that senior residents whose financial resources have been exhausted in spite of prudent planning can remain at RWC.

In addition to providing financial assistance to RWC residents, the Foundation supports programs and activities that are open to the community including RWC’s Memory Care program and Parkinson’s Support Group and Care Partners Group. These groups meet monthly to share concerns of living with and care for those with dementia or Parkinson’s disease. Medical professionals and researchers routinely attend the meetings to discuss advances in treatment and best practices for daily living activities.

An annual fund drive, golf tournament and donations from individuals and philanthropic organizations generate revenues for this fund.

The foundation also accepts gifts from donors who wish to support programs and activities, community offerings or improve campus buildings and grounds.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation today.
